EASY CHOCOLATE CRUNCH BARS (2 Ingredients)

These Chocolate Crunch Bars are a perfect 2-ingredient no-bake dessert/snack to make with just chocolate and cereal!

I love making quick and easy treats which come together in no time! These bars are so easy, you can ask your kids to make them!

Making these (seriously!) could not be simpler! You need ONLY TWO INGREDIENTS – chocolate and cereal! Just melt the chocolate (white, milk/dark or mix of milk and dark), stir in some crushed cornflakes and muesli (or just cornflakes) and set! THAT IS IT! If using muesli, you can toast them on a pan for a few minutes to make them crispier but this is optional.

I set them in an 8x8 inch pan lined with parchment paper to make it easy to remove the bars. You can line them with aluminum foil too. If you want thinner bars, use a larger pan.

If you are more adventurous, stir in chopped nuts, raisins, dried fruits etc.

Now how easy was that! All you need is just 10 minutes and 2 ingredients! These decadent treats remind me of the chocolate crunch bars available in stores but healthier with cornflakes, muesli etc.

Store them at room temperature in an airtight container for 2 days or if longer, in the fridge (lasts for up to 2 weeks) or even the freezer!

One bite and I had my chocolate kick with a lovely crunch! So delicious and divine, I can imagine myself stirring in different flavors, textures and colors like dry fruits, nuts, peanut/sunflower/cashew/almond butter etc.!

These make great edible gifts to share with family and friends too!

ENJOY!!!

HOW TO MAKE EASY CHOCOLATE CRUNCH BARS:

Line an 8x8 inxh pan with parchment paper (or Aluminum foil) with overhang for easy removal of chocolate bars.

Chop chocolate into small chunks (3 cups) to make melting them easier and faster.

In a double boiler or in microwave, melt the chopped chocolate until fully melted. If using microwave, heat in 20-second bursts, stirring in between until fully melted.

Stir in other ingredients; 1 cup cornflakes, 1/2 cup muesli etc. and mix well with spatula until the flakes are fully combined.

Pour into parchment lined/aluminum foil lined pan and smoothen the top.

Set in refrigerator to set; about 15 minutes and cut into desired pieces.

Wait for about 10 minutes after removing from fridge to cut or they will crack.

Use a sharp, heavy knife to make clean cuts.

Enjoy!
